3 ways to upgrade your look
It’s amazing to think just how faractivewear has come over the last few years. Remember when heading to the gym meant finding an old tee and a simple pair of leggings? These days the clothes available for working out are seriously fashion forward. This probably explains why activewear often sneaks its way into our casual wardrobe and is worn out and about and as far away from a treadmill as possible! From designer threads to old sports favourites such as Nike and Adidas there are so many on stylish options that you’ll be jumping aboard the athleisure trend in no time.
Old but New
If you’re having one of those days where you look like you’ve been dressed by your mum, in the dark, in the 90's (and we’re talking scrunchies and Hypercolor-era 90's, not revival-worthy 90's), then don’t look now. Seriously, don’t. Because the girls whose wardrobes are immune to malfunctions are back. Yes, it’s the Fashion Bloggers – the group of Aussie girls whose lives really are as stylish as they look, return for a second season on its brand new home on E!
Season Two of the hit reality doco series sees a new face join the set of social media starlets as they lift the lids on their jet-set lives. Nadia Fairfax, the rising style icon behind Fairfax Journal, joins familiar blogging glitterati Amanda Shadforth (Oracle Fox), Sara Donaldson (Harper & Harley), Zanita Whittington (Zanita) and Kate Waterhouse (Kate Waterhouse) – and they’re on a mission to fill Instagram feeds everywhere with ideas, inspiration and a whole heap of wardrobe envy.
Fashion The Start
So, you think you can blog? The good news is, getting started is the easiest part. It’s figuring out how to actually grow your blog and build up a loyal following that will ultimately separate the wannabes from the success stories. But don’t worry, we got you covered. With a market that’s as overcrowded and crazy competitive as fashion blogging (and blogging in general), simply having a passion for fashion won’t cut it in this crazy cutthroat market. You have to be willing to put in the time and really work for it, girl. To see what it takes, we turned to two top style bloggers for their professional advice on how to start a fashion blog.
